Benefit of Triple Engine

The Triple Engine System for Performance and Coverage

Unique All-in-One Approach

The comprehensive site coverage of the most broadly used engine, IE's Trident. The incredibly fast JavaScript performance speed boasted by Firefox's engine, Gecko. The equally or even faster engine of Chrome/Safari, WebKit. Lunascape is a hybrid triple engine browser equipped with all three. While other existing browsers struggle to combine any two of these engines, Lunascape is unmatched in that it is the only browser that combines the best features and speeds from these highly acclaimed browsers, seamlessly.

The World's Best Site Coverage

What does this look like to you?

IE Acid3

This is the result of an Acid3 test. An Acid3 test is a test of how well your browser (rendering engine) works with web standards, and these are the results from Trident (IE7's engine). The "5" inside the pink frame is its score. You have probably noticed that this display isn't right. So what is the display supposed to look like? Take a look at pictures below.
On the left is a "93", the results from Gecko, and on the right is a perfect score from WebKit.

Acid3 from WebKit

Try it for yourself to see how well your current browser can perform, at ACID3 website.

Just looking at this, you might think that WebKit is the best, but there are many sites in which the display gets warped when using WebKit or Gecko. Due to the fact that large number of people use IE, many websites are optimized for IE, even though it may cause the site to actually become out of line with web standards. Engines with very high adherence to web standards, such as WebKit and Gecko, may thus have problems viewing these types of sites.
In the non-standardized world of web browsers, sticking to just one particular browser can really limit you. Lunascape comes equipped with three engines, Trident, Gecko, WebKit. This gives Lunascape virtually the best coverage in the world.

Choose Your Rendering Engine at Will

Ordinarily one browser has only one rendering engine. What would you do if a page was displayed incorrectly with your current browser? With Lunascape, you won't have that problem any more. Lunascape comes with three engines and switching engines is easy, too. Just right click on a tab to bring up the Switch Engine menu, then select the engine you want to use. Or simply click on engine icon on the left bottom corner.

If you are using sites with a lot of JavaScript such as G-mail or Facebook, you can switch to the Gecko or WebKit engine, and if a site is displayed incorrectly or unnaturally, you can switch over to Trident engine. You can do so at each tab on the fly and you can set a default engine for certain web site. (e.g. Always use Trident for your bank website)
