    Is iLunascape Free?

    Absolutely. It is free.

  • Are "iLunascape" and "iLunascape Lite" the Same Application?

    Currently, both apps has nearly identical features. However, the iLunascape Lite is a lighter version of the iLunascape, so more new features will be added to the iLunascape in future updates. If you'd like to switch from Lite to standard version, please see How To Transfer Data

  • Can I Migrate from Lite Version to Normal Version?

    Absolutely. Please follow the steps at How To Transfer Data.

  • How Many Tabs Can I Open with iLunascape?

    To ensure high performance, we currently limit maximum number of tabs to six.

  • Can I Change Home Page?

    Yes, you can. Please refer to the "Setting Homepage" section below.

  • Is There "Sync" Features between iLunascape and Lunascape Desktop Browser?

    Yes. You can access your Online Bookmarks using a Firefox Sync account or by registering an Online Sync account via Lunascape. Currently, Online Bookmarks are 'read only' from iLunascape. Compatible Lunascape version is 6.4 or later.

  • How Can I Close Pop-up Dialogue such as Settings in iPad?

    You can close it by taping anywhere in the main window.

  • Basic Features

    Showing/Hiding the Address Bar (iPhone/iPod touch Only)

    Tap the top of the iLunascape browser to show Address Bar. You can hide it by tapping there again.

  • Showing/Hiding the Tab Bar (iPhone/iPod touch Only)

    Tap the [Tab] button to show Tab Bar. You can hide it by tapping the button again.

  • Browsing the Web

    Enter URL in Address Bar and tap [Go] on your keyboard.

  • Reloading a Web Page

    Tap the [Reload] in the Address Bar.

  • Moving Back/Forward

    Tap [Prev]/[Next] button on the Toolbar to go back or forward page. If there is no previous or next page, the button is grayed out.

  • Searching the Web

    Tap [Search] button to open the search box. Type in search word(s) and tap [Search] on keyboard.

  • Find In Page

    ● For iPhone/iPod touch:
    Tap [Menu] button to select [Find In Page] button.
    ● For iPad:
    Tap [Page] button to select [Find In Page] button.

    Type in search word(s) in a pop up dialogue and tap [OK]. Number of found word(s) are indicated and highlighted in yellow.

  • Saving Image

    Hold an image to display options to [save image]. You can access to saved images in the Files (as default) or in your Photo application and later can copy them to your Photo Album or upload them to your Dropbox account. Also see "Save Image to Photo Album".

  • Print

    ● For iPhone/iPod touch:
    Tap [Menu] button to select [Print] button.
    ● For iPad:
    Tap [Page] button to select [Print] button.

    It will bring you to the Printer Options to proceed printing. It works with AirPrint-enabled printers only.

  • Tab Browsing

    Adding a New Tab

    Tap [+] button on the left of the Tab bar to add new tab(s). As a default, a new tab will open with homepage.

  • Closing a Tab

    Tap [x] button on the right of the tab bar to close tab(s).

  • Moving Between Tabs

    You can display tabs by tapping the tab you'd like to display OR by sliding your finger to move between tabs to display.

  • Opening Link in New Tab

    Hold a link to display options to open the link in a new tab.

  • Opening Link in New Tab in Background

    Hold a link to display options to open the link in background tab.

  • Bookmarks and History

    Adding Current Page to Bookmarks

    Tap [Tools] button and select "Add Bookmark",
    or ● For iPhone/iPod touch:
    Tap [Menu] button on the Toolbar to select [Bookmark] > [Add Bookmark] button.
    ● For iPad:
    Tap [Tools] icon and select "Add Bookmark", or tap [bookmarks] icon on the Toolbar and select [Add Bookmark] icon.

  • Arranging Order of Bookmarks

    ● For iPhone/iPod touch:
    Tap [Menu] button in the Toolbar to select [Bookmarks] > [Edit] button.
    ● For iPad:
    Tap [Bookmarks] icon in the Toolbar and select [Edit] icon.

    Drag & drop a page while holding [Ξ] button.

  • Editing Bookmarks

    ● For iPhone/iPod touch:
    Tap [Menu] button in the Toolbar to select [Bookmarks] > [Edit].
    ● For iPad:
    Tap [Bookmarks] icon in the Toolbar and select [Edit].

    Tap a page to edit its title and URL. Once finished, tap [Save].

  • Deleting Bookmarks

    ● For iPhone/iPod touch:
    Tap [Menu] button in the Toolbar to select [Bookmarks] > [Edit].
    ● For iPad:
    Tap [Bookmarks] icon in the Toolbar and select [Edit].

    Tapping [-] on a page you wish to delete. Click [Delete] to confirm.

  • Viewing History

    ● For iPhone/iPod touch:
    Tap [Menu] button in the Toolbar to select [Bookmarks] > [History].
    ● For iPad:
    Tap [History] section to view your browsing history.

    You can open a previously visited page by tapping its title.

  • Deleting History

    ● For iPhone/iPod touch:
    Tap [Menu] button in the Toolbar to select [Bookmarks] > [History].
    ● For iPad:
    Tap [History] section to view your browsing history.

    Select [Clear All] to delete all history. You can also clear history from the Settings.

  • Using Online Bookmarks

  • Settings

    Opening the Settings

    ● For iPhone/iPod touch:
    Tab [Settings] button on the Address Bar to display the Settings.
    ● For iPad:
    Tab [Settings] icon to display the Settings.

  • Clear History

    Tap [Clear History] to clear all browsing history.

  • Delete Cookies

    Tap [Delete Cookies] to delete all cookies.

  • Clear Cache

    Tap [Clear Cache] to clear all caches.

  • Log out from Twitter

    Tap to disconnect from your Twitter account. This option is only active when you're connected to your Twitter account.

  • Log out from Facebook

    Tap to disconnect from your Facebook account. This option is only active when you're connected to your Facebook account.

  • Log out from Dropbox

    Tap to disconnect from your Dropbox account. This option is only active when you're connected to your Dropbox account.

  • Log out from Read It Later

    Tap to disconnect from your Read It Later account. This option is only active when you're connected to your Read It Later account.

  • Lock Rotation

    Off as a default. Select [ON] to lock rotation / [OFF] to allow auto rotation.
    Note: This function will not work if your device's portrait orientation is locked.

  • Restore Tabs

    On as a default. Select [ON] to automatically start with tabs from the last session.

  • Search in New Tab

    Off as a default. Select [ON] to open search results as a new tab.

  • Open Bookmarks in New Tab

    Off as a default. Select [ON] to open Bookmarks in a new tab(s). Off by default.

  • Hide Title Bar

    Off as a default. Select [ON] to hide (not to display) the Title Bar.

  • Fast Scroll

    On as a default. Select [ON] to make page scroll faster. When this setting is [OFF], you're scrolling web page while rendering every images or contents.

  • Scroll to Top (iPhone/iPod touch Only)

    Select [ON] to tap the Status bar to go back to the top of Web page.

  • Save Image to Photo Album

    Select [ON] to change a directory to save images from your File folder to your Photo Album.

  • User Agent

    Tap [User Agent] to select your preferred user agent from the list. You can identify iLunascape browser as Internet Explorer, Firefox, Google Chrome, Opera, Safari and Lunascape.

  • Online Help

    Tap to open this site. For iPad, you can access to the Online Help from [Menu] > [Online Help].

  • About

    Display product name and its version. For iPad, you can access to the About information from [Menu] > [About].

  • Online Bookmarks

    What is Online Bookmarks?

    The Online Bookmarks allows you to view and access to your Favorites/Bookmarks list on Lunascape (desktop) browser and Firefox browser via iLunascape. This feature is utilizing open-sourced Firefox Sync APIs.

  • Viewing Online Bookmarks

    ● For iPhone/iPod touch:
    Tap [Menu] button to select [Bookmarks].
    ● For iPad:Tap [Bookmarks] icon to display your bookmarks view.
    Then, tap [Online] to view your Online Bookmarks.

  • Creating an Account

    You need to have an account in order to access to your Online Bookmarks. You can create one from Lunascape browser using the Online Sync feature or Firefox browser through Firefox Sync add-on or feature. If you already have an account, you can use it to connect and retrieve your bookmarks. Compatible Lunascape browser version is 6.4 or later.

    You can create an account from Lunascape 6.4.0 or later by following steps.
    1) Download and install Lunascape Desktop Browser version 6.4.0 or later in your computer.
    2) Launch the Lunascape browser, and select from the menu bar [View] > [Sidebars] > [Online Bookmarks]. This opens Online Bookmarks window on your sidebar.
    3) Click [Settings] button to create an account.

  • Connecting to Your Account

    Tap [Log In] to input your user name, password and sync key. Tap [Connect] button to connect to your account.

  • Reloading Online Bookmarks

    Tap [Refresh] to reload your Online Bookmarks.

  • Editing Online Bookmarks

    You cannot edit nor reorganize your Online Bookmarks with the current version of iLunascape.

  • Disconnecting Online Bookmarks

    Tap [Log Out] to disconnect your Online Bookmarks.

  • Others

    Setting Homepage

    Open a page you'd like to set as Homepage. Then tap [Tools] button on the Address Bar to select [Set as Home Page].

  • Capturing Screenshots

    ● For iPhone/iPod touch:
    Tap [Menu] button on the Toolbar and select [Save Page] > [Capture Screen].
    ● For iPad:
    Tap [Page] icon in the Toolbar and select [Screen Capture].

    You can view captured screenshots in the Files and later can copy them to your iPhone's Photo Album or upload them to your Dropbox account.

  • Sharing on Twitter

    You can tweet about the website you're currently viewing by tapping the [Menu] button (for iPhone/iPod touch) or the [Page] button (for iPad) on the Toolbar and tap [Twitter] button.

  • Sharing on Facebook

    You can share the website you're currently viewing on Facebook by tapping the [Menu] button (for iPhone/iPod touch) or the [Page] button (for iPad) on the Toolbar and tap [Facebook] button.

  • Sharing by Email

    You can share the website you're currently viewing via Email by tapping the [Menu] button (for iPhone/iPod touch) or the [Page] button (for iPad) on the Toolbar and tap [Email] button.

  • Downloading Files and Images

    You can download files and images to the Files. Tap [Menu] button on the Toolbar to select [Save Page] button. You can either select [Capture Screen] or [Save File]. Saved screen shots or files are automatically saved in your File as a default.

  • Managing your Files

    You can manage your downloaded files and images from your Files. Tap [Menu] button on the Toolbar to select [Files] button. You can tap a file to [Open], [Delete], or [Upload to Dropbox]. You can also select [Copy to Photo Album] on a saved image.

  • Restarting iLunascape

    ● For iOS3:
    Press "Home" button to close the application. Once closed, tap the iLunascape icon to launch the app.

    ● For iOS4:
    Press "Home" button to leave the application. Double-Click the "Home" button to open the multitasking window. Press and hold the iLunascape icon to quit and tap the red circled minus button. This allows the application to quit. Then, tap the iLunascape icon to launch the app.

  • Opening Links in iLunascape from other Apps

    ● From Safari:
    1. Bookmark a Web site (e.g. http://www.lunascape.tv)
    2. Edit the URL. Change "http://" with "ilunascape://" and Save.
    3. Select the bookmark. It will open with iLunascape.
    You can use ilunascapes:// for https://.
